I thought it would be interesting to see which Huskers the Oregon State (pretty much our current football staff) offered coming out of HS or JUCO between 2011 and 2014. Going back to the Rivals commitment lists, I came up with following players who committed to Nebraska but also had a listed OSU offer:

R. Gregory
J. Stanton
N. Gates

I was not trying to draw any conclusions, as far as talent evaluation. I just wanted to see which players the current staff had some familiarity with and see if there pattern of players who both staffs felt fit their system. The one surprise was Stanton. People talk about MR's pro-style system, yet they offered a dual threat QB. Otherwise, it seems that the geography played a huge part in the OSU offers, as all those players listed above either played HS or JUCO out West.
