Nebraska received the commitment from Cloud County CC pitcher Mason McConnaughey Wednesday evening. The 6-foot-2 RHP will come to Lincoln as a sophomore with three years of eligibility. He recorded a 3.69 ERA over 68.1 IP this past season. A huge upside arm for Rob Childress to work with as he struck out 93 batters compared to only 23 walks.
