Hun, I'm glad Nebraska isn't getting as much tornadoes this year.
Everywhere else gets my prayers too.
Wow that is absolutely incredible. Obviously the damage and destruction to homes and people is awful but my goodness. I wish I could get that close to one at some point in my life.
Been that close and don't want to ever again.
When it hits your house or neighborhood you'll change your mind. Trust me on that.
I think we can safely assume he was talking about seeing one up close somewhere desolate - not seeing a tornado rip through his home destroying all of his worldly possessions.
Yeah but the problem with that it is, tornadoes can - and often do - come in bunches. The one you are watching from what seems like a safe distance might not be the one that kills you.
I get your point but it’s still something I would like to see..Sorry for anybody who is hurt or worse by the effects of a tornado, not trying to act arrogant or anything like that
I could die on my way to work later, should I not want to drive or should I quit my job because of that possibility?
Understand wanting to see it, but being that close usually ends up being a bad thing for the ones involved.
Completely understand, let’s clear this up. I’d love to see a tornado in person, away from anybody’s home or personal property, safely away from causing anybody any problems?
You could literally make this argument on anything that someone wants to do.
If RedJensen wants to tether himself to a power line with a GoPro strapped to his butt to get all angles of a passing tornado (not saying he wants to) then it’s a deal he wants to experience and doesn’t have to be your experience.

Very similar to my yearning to experience a monster earthquake and tsunami. Not that I like destruction, I am completely in awe of this life, and the planet we all live on.
I live where I do in part due to the preponderance of natural occurrences of our planet. Earthquakes, volcanoes and tsunamis. Only thing I have not experienced is a tsunami.
