Coach Tony White Michigan State Press Conference Notes -Rotating guys early on has helped with injuries on the defense -Always looking at standard of play over the results -The high five is on the teach tape, Coach White says the ref could've called a penalty and the offense would've been in a worse spot -DL disruption did a really nice job, even if it didn't show up in the stats -Athletes we have here working with the coaches is what allows for the versatility primarily at the jack position - "starts at the top" -All of the defensive coaches utilize cross training -Playing fast requires the players to learn and coaches not giving too much complexity -Once the players know a kick can be blocked, it reinforces their confidence -"when its our time to go play ball, we play ball" -MSU offense is more explosive than you think they are -OL is big
Being able to be in the playing rotation has been a long time coming for Javin. I'm assuming he'll take his Covid year.
I hope we smoke MSU. These press conferences give me confidence. These coaches get it.

100% they freaked out in a good way watching that over and over, laughing and pretending to rip on the players but actually loving it and then just telling them to not do it again.
And with our offense... can't take a chance on having a TD called back.
DeColdest Crawford transferred, but SOS Heating and Cooling was lucky Polar Bear is on the roster.
We better have our heads screwed on straight this weekend. There’s enough talent on Sparty to be an 8-9 win team. Sounds like they’ve settled on a QB now and he’s a true freshman gamer. Charlie McBride warned us to not take them lightly. A lot of their issues have been lots of untimely 15 yard penalties.

— Rhule said that safety Marques Buford has been cleared and will make the trip to Michigan State, though if he plays and how much will be determined by the flow of the game, Rhule said.
“He practiced Tuesday, he practiced Wednesday,” Rhule said. “He won’t start — we’ll play with the guys who have played.”

That was Marvelous Jarvis in 1980 against OU. It was our first series of the game and he went 90 yards on an option right. He waved bye-bye at about the 30 yard line. We pelted the field with oranges after that play.

They're not settled and looking to play both QB's according the the article I read.
their play by play guy said it will be the freshman. I’m sure they want us to feel like we have to prepare for all of em.
White will focus on stopping the run, get MSU behind schedule and bring pressure. The way the D is playing, I’m not sure it matters who is QB.
Right. Card was supposed to be pretty good, but looked not much more than NIL's Rocky Lombardi...
