Maybe this has been going on for years and I never noticed, but why does it seem like no college or NFL player has their mouthpiece in their mouth during plays? It’s more common to see the mouthpiece swinging from their helmet than to actually see it in their mouth this year. Anyone have any info on this? I would have bit my tongue off in high school in my playing days and probably would have been flagged.
