I agree MR needs more time BUT it doesn't look very promising so far. Isn't this how his program performed at Oregon State? His biggest weaknesses were defense and a consistent run offense. I really like MR but Banker and Cav have not produced consistent results at Oregon State and add 2 more years of the same here and it is a track record that is pretty alarming. Why did our best OL that most think has pro career talent was completely out of position and overmatched. That appears to be a coaching issue. Poor tackling and willingness to compete on defense again appears to be a coaching issue. These were the same consistent issues at Oregon State. Without changes in these areas should we expect different results. No way you could fire him today but another average 2017, ending the season unranked with a couple blowouts would put Ronnie Green on the clock. Yes Ronnie Green as Shawn can't make that hire and not be the first to go if it doesn't work.
