Missed layup after missed layup after missed layup

Refs are making college basketball nearly unwatchable. It's almost like they think we are here to watch them and not the players.

These refs are God awful, Ed Morrow just got called for a completely nonsensical offensive foul.

You can tell pretty much everything you need to know about this game by watching that douchebag ref call that bs foul on Ed Morrow. He was more interested in making a big production of the call than getting it right.

Thought in the first half Nebraska looked like an actual basketball team, they had a good first half, but not saying NCAA quality. Their defense under the bucket has to get better, to be given a chance at any run in the Big Ten. Have definitely made some strides, want to buy in, just need to keep up their attitude.

Dude starts a thread, and doesn't come back after a 12-point win. The hate on this board is something else.

This team could be very good in 2 years if these young players continue to develop and don't transfer. Watson, McVeigh, Morrow, Roby, Horne, Tshimanga, Jacobson, Palmer.

Gill has been kind of a disappointment so far, but I'm hoping it's just the injury that's been holding him back.

La Tech was a good early test for this team. They will likely be a low to mid 100's RPI when it's all said and done. Won by 10+ with a bad game out of Watson which is encouraging. Big week coming up...we can beat Dayton but it will be tough. With a win over Dayton it should set up a matchup vs UCLA which would be big for SOS/RPI purposes. Hopefully they can take care of Dayton.

This should register as a decent win as the year goes on. LaTech won 23 games last year. I'm not overly familiar with their roster, but they return several players from that team. Their RPI should be at least respectable as the year goes on. NU will have plenty of opportunities to pick up quality wins before the Big Ten season begins - starting with this upcoming week.

I really hope we can move away from the broken record of "in a few years, this team could be really good"...Despite playing numerous sophomores, these are 2nd year players that got a lot of quality minutes last year. Ideally they will step things up a notch this year instead of perpetually making us wait for the vaguely defined "future" that never seems to arrive.
