Things you just don't hear about. A very close friend and fraternity brother of mine played on the 1962-65 Devaney teams. He has fell on hard times health related. A few years ago he was unable to attend a football reunion because he was unable to navigate the stadium stairs. Mike Riley called him this week and asked him if he still couldn't climb the stairs. My friend said that he still couldn't so coach Riley tells him to get ahold of him the Friday before the Arkansas State game ( a reunion celebrating 150th year of the N Club) , and he would see to it that he had sideline tickets. Riley has never met my friend and took It upon himself to do this . Pure, pure class ....
