PROPS. This is my first thread started in quite some time. Actually, since I was told by my "source" that either Scott Frost or David Shaw has going to be our next HC. .... was told most likely SF. I ran with it on here, without asking of the few people I really trust here.
I had always tried to confirm what I heard first, because I could care less about being considered "someone in the know", which I NEVER claimed to be in the first place. I just happened to know someone that knew someone, so I heard things from time to time. Obviously, I got burned BAD when it came to that.
I was told by my "source" by a phone call about an hour before the news broke about Banker. I was pretty reluctant to post that news here....as you can imagine. What I was always told was right......99% of the time....except for the HC hiring.....that was enough to be pretty embarrassing, though.
I have to be honest, I have been on the fence about MR. I love the guy and want him to succeed, I just was not sure that he would.
After tonight, there is no doubt in my mind that HCMR is here to bring championship football back to NU. We should all be pumped.
So, this is an apology to all of you at HO for any misleading info that I told you that I thought I had....... and to the staff for questioning your commitment to championship football at NU.
