The commitment of Guy Thomas got me thinking about all the hype Riley and Co. have gotten from recruiting this year and the momentum from recruiting last year. Oregon State is my alama mater and Oregon is my home state so I have followed oregon state football for long time. Looking at how Gary Anderson is recruiting to oregon state vs. how Riley did, makes me understand more and more why he is having the success he is here. He had a blueprint in place a long time ago of how to try and attract kids from L.A., Texas and Florida to a smaller town in oregon. Gary Anderson is not having that kind of success at all. Which makes me ever more confident in Riley's ability to continue his recruiting success at Nebraska. If you can get the Brandon Cooks of the world (4 star Belitnikoff award winner) to come to Oregon State, no reason to think that he can't keep getting the cream of the crop around the country with a way better product to sell.
