I'm starting to think at least a good chunk of the improvement we're seeing on defense, particularly the front 7, may be attributed to coach Dawson's return.
It's hard to prove this but when you you look at the front 7 given the D-lineman lost to graduation/NFL, I have to think his presence with players and schemes with coach T, Chin, and Ruud is very big. If he's a good recruiter too, which as I understand it he is, hopefully we can keep him here for a long time.
