Michigan @ Utah: Do you want Michigan to win?

So, do you root for Michigan tonight for conference solidarity? Or do you root for Utah to help teach Michigan some humility?

I'm rooting for Utah, if only to pour some water on the Harbaugh love fest.

For some of us trying to climb the latter in national perception and thus maybe a BCS bowl berth down the road, Michigan winning would be a good thing. If not for that, I would want Harbaugh to go down. Rooting against Michigan is kind of self destructive.

This is pretty much my feeling. Before conference divisions.....prior big12...I rooted for all conference teams because we played them all and you want all of them to have the best record and highest ranking possible.

Not now. Kinda feel bad about that but anybody we don't play is just another team there to take a bowl spot.

Trust me Michigan has learned a lot about humility over the last few years.

Devin Gardner, Doug Nussmeier, Brady Hoke and their historically bad offense (that actually out gained Utah in 2014) all gone.

Winning our games is all that matters. If Michigan wins no one will say "wow the Big 10 is great". They'll say "hey, look what Harbaugh has done at Michigan". Someone lied to you when they told you Michigan or Ohio State or Penn State or anyone else winning helps Nebraska in any way

If Michigan wins, it does nothing for the teams in the West. All the talk will be about how bad the West is compared to the East. Minnesota winning is a much bigger deal for the conference.

I agree that we need to do our part and win games, but playing those teams when they are good and having a conference that gets respect is better than playing crap teams. At the core I agree. NU needs to do its part, but I'm tired of hearing the B10 sucks and it is only Ohio State. Build the conference and get some love.

I agree with the first part, if we don't win, it doesn't matter. IF WE DO WIN, it does/will matter what the rest of the B1G does. I'll concede this, if we convincingly win every single game we play then it may not matter.

Michigan was always my second favorite team. Of course, that was Bo Schembechler led teams. I am not a fan of Harbaugh. He will win at first and then will bail later when he struggles. His behavior only works for so long.

I will still root for Michigan despite their coach. It's better for NU and the conference if they win. I never used to root for our conference foes to lose just to make it easier on us. Win out and remove all doubt. I'd rather channel my hate for the other overrated conferences.

Partially true, the Huskers must win but who would you rather beat 12 Wake Forest-ish teams or 12 Ohio State-ish teams?

The reason you will pick 12 Ohio State-ish teams...and you will pick 12 Ohio State-ish teams...is because of who they beat and how often they beat them.
