Michigan State vs. Nebraska BB

3 Point FG PCT Defense(in conference) since Molinari was hired.

14/15- #12- .361
15/16- #13- .392
16/17- #13- .454

Before Molinari

12/13- #5- .320
13/14- #5- .330

Luck? Scheme? Personnel? After three years if being near the bottom of the league I'm going to toss luck out the window. Unfortunately, it appears teams can pick and pop us to death and we have not had an answer for it.

Nebraska gets killed with ball movement on the perimeter. Nebraska can't return the favor.

Our entire offense is give the ball to Webster or Watson and let them drive. If they kick it and no one is hitting shots (McVeigh, Horne, Jacobson) or can't get anything going on the block...then we're basically screwed. We had a lot of open shots in the first half that just didn't fall. And what is with our out of bounds plays? Do we have any? It seems like we just lob it past the three point line every time. No cutting or any movement. You would think we'd have at least a couple of set plays to run.

I am not giving up on Miles or this team but it just seems that we aren't running any set plays on offense either. It's drive and score or drive and kick and score, otherwise we have nothing going for us. And the three point defense is horrible. If we are going to get beat this consistently on the three point line, then its better to overplay that and get help on the drive. Some things need to change. I don't think pulling Miles is the right thing but some principals and things that this team is trying to live by aren't working.

Not to change the subject, but anyone hear anything about if Morrow will return for the Iowa game on Sunday?

He was close to being ready for Michigan State. But not even suited up. I would guess he may suit up for Iowa and play very limited minutes to get back into the flow. Hope he's completely healthy in time for the B1G tourney and maybe pull off a couple upsets.

Thanks, we need him the 2nd half of the conference season and hoping by Iowa he would be ready to go..
Keep my fingers crossed for Sunday.

Anxious to get Morrow back, but please Lord don't cut back on Tschimanga's minutes when Morrow returns. Those two need time on the court together.
