You're talking about the team that just had 50+ points hung on it by PURDUE????
I've got a sneaking suspicion that we win too. At least down to the last possession and the old lady will be rocking once again. Time will tell, but I could see Michigan State looking past the corn and Nebraska putting forth a great effort, maybe a little magic (trick play or two) and crazy things happen. Hell, Purdue just knocked off Nebraska!
MSU beat Purdue by 3 points 24-21. Purdue hung 21 points on the #6 team in the nation....do some research at least.
MSU is ranked and i bet our boys remember last year lossing only because our WR dropped the touchdown winning catch. MSU will get our best this weekend and this isbone area where Riley has shown he can pull off, games against ranked teams.
Yes we can lose this game but we can also win this game. If Tommys back and healthy we can pull this game off, if he doesnt play, i bet we get beat bad. Remember MSU barely best Rutgers and Purdue. If these 2 teams can hang almost 30 or more points on them, if we have Tommy i bet we put 40 plus on them. We just need our defense ti show up in some way.
And Nebraska is worse than Purdue... use some common sense at least.
40 points WOW! The most points MSU has given up this year is Oregon 28pts and Indy 26pts. Oregon is ranked #12 in total offense and Indy is #27. I guess its possible with our shaky secondary...but 2 things make it improbable is MSU's strength in TO margin (#6 in country) and Time of Possession (top 15).MSU is ranked and i bet our boys remember last year lossing only because our WR dropped the touchdown winning catch. If you would have bet against Nebraska in the Miami and wisky games you would have lost. Betting in itself is hard but if you also have the rose colored glasses on its even worse to make an unbiased pick
Even if you did I would assume it'd still be a disappointment since the Husker come away with a loss.Unless you bet against Nebraska all year.
Covered the last two weeks, I do believe.Should be a great game. MSU is due to cover the spread sometime this year. Just not on Saturday.
MSU 34
Nebraska 31
Do you actually think I would bet on a team that gave up double nickels to PURDUE???If you're waging against Nebraska I hope you lose your ass.
No.Do you actually think I would bet on a team that gave up double nickels to PURDUE???
If you're putting money on MSU and you're a Husker fan, do you now root for or against Nebraska? Either answer is dumb imo.Do you actually think I would bet on a team that gave up double nickels to PURDUE???

Fair enough. To each his own and that's cool.I view sports betting as an aside from my fandom. If the numbers say bet against em, then I bet against em. It doesn't change who I root for. I bet against the Cubs in game 4 last week. Didn't change one iota who I was rooting for.
No.
I never bet against Nebraska because if I were and I end up being correct, I feel very dirty betting against my team. If I bet against Nebraska and they do come away with a win, great on the win, but I lost money which I hate.
I'll either;
1) bet on Nebraska. or
2) stay away from the game because I don't want to bet against my team nor do I want to lose money (if Nebraska were to win).

Haha, very true. I can't help it, my emotions get involved every time (for better or worse) when it comes to the Huskers. You're breaking the #2 rule of betting which is "don't let emotion get involved."
