This story is posted on the main Rivals page, written by the Miami rivals site. It intends to make the case that satellite camps are unfair, but gives evidence that the opposite is true. Coach Riley is prominent in it, and makes the best case I have heard of why these camps are fair. Bottom line is in South Florida for example, the schools in the state do or should have a good grasp of the talent in their state, most likely the same kids that attended our camp attended the UMiami camp, FSU camp, Gators camp. If they choose not to offer them and they chose to go elsewhere, they have no reason to complain, they had their shot to evaluate and deemed them not offer worthy. As for highly sought after recruits if some team like Michigan or Nebraska can come in to your backyard and pluck a kid out, you should step up your game not blame the rules. It rarely happens, but if it does Coach Riley is 100% correct that if a kid believes he can succeed better at a University outside his area he should be given every opportunity to do so. I doubt the actual recruits are complaining at all about gaining opportunities they may not have had otherwise. The article link is below.
