Me too. That position was already thinThe last I read Rhule thought it was his knee? I believe they're going to scope/scan it or whatever. I hope it's not serious.

Don’t hold your breath. The position coach himself is still learning to coach, so it’s hard for anyone young to learn if the coach is also super inexperienced.Hope one of the young in can grow up quick and play some big boy ball…

I saw cut ties the whole offensive staff, hire a good OC and allow him to help field his offensive staff. We don’t have coach on that side of the ball worth keeping
I can’t see Rhule firing a buddy or the son of a buddy after just one year.Don’t hold your breath. The position coach himself is still learning to coach, so it’s hard for anyone young to learn if the coach is also super inexperienced.

This staff needs to get these younger players especially WR ready to perform with half the season left to go..We’re really gonna need him down the stretch, but coming from someone who’s had 3 ACL reconstructions, it didn’t look good. Hope one of the young in can grow up quick and play some big boy ball…

Get the others involved too.Coleman played 67 snaps yesterday
Second most at WR, just slightly behind Bullock and well above Kemp who had third most snaps
Hold on friends! Rhule is building the right way. Sure it would be nice to have 2 solid recievers but give Doss and Coleman some experince and Bullock is coming on. OC needs to incorporate more 2 TE sets and opt runs.I'd like to see more of Fleeks to relieve Grant. JMO We're already ahead of Frosty's best at 6 games!

Except for Riola I don’t agree with you because this is only the 6th game they’ve coached together, from what I’ve heard on the defensive side a number of the coaches we’re familiar with of did some work with Tony white plus the defense has more talent ri nowDon’t hold your breath. HH is just learning how to run the option. It will get better as the year goes on but will take a couple of more training camps to become a consistent staple of the offense.Hold on friends! sending RBs out in patterns is a luxury raiola's offensive line doesn't afford this offensePlay action fake to the RB then throw it to the RB is under utilized in this offense..imo.

When it comes to the injuries I think it is because they have worked harder than they ever did under Frost. You have to remember they never practiced tackling and rarely scrimmaged. Now they’re doing both of those things in practice weekly.Agree 100%. The entire offensive coaching staff should be fired. Our offense is so far behind the rest of college football. Could use 22 offensive players out of the portal next year. While we are at changing staff I continue to believe we have an abnormal number of injuries. S&C coach, looking at you. What is going on. Are they not in shape, not flexible, not taped right?
Then why did a good number of players have a lot of soft tissue injuries under frost? When it comes to the injuries I think it is because they have worked harder than they ever did under Frost. That I think is rampant across all of football. I can’t blame Frost for soft tissue injuries. Some will point the finger at artificial turf, which it may be, but it’s probably one factor of many. Athletes today are so much more athletic when it comes to fast twitch motion. It’s not a wonder why they tear their ACL/MCL frequently with that kind of activity. Then why did a good number of players have a lot of soft tissue injuries under frost?
And that in itself is a problem. cronyism is a big problem in Lincoln especially on the offensive side of the ball.I can’t see Rhule firing a buddy or the son of a buddy after just one year.
Don’t forget the OL coachAnd that in itself is a problem. cronyism is a big problem in Lincoln especially on the offensive side of the ball.
When Rhule said we were a developmental program, I took it to mean players not coaches.
Our skill position sucks but people dont want to hold the WR & RB Coach accountable. Head scratching
One coach is cutting his teeth coaching in overall (scary). He should be a GA for his dad @ Tech
We’ve got another coach cutting his teeth coaching big time football. Getting guys coffee in Carolina and @ Penn State doesn’t count. B1G isn’t Albany or Howard
It’s not a coincidence how inexperienced we are on coaching on offense and how bad we are on offense. Some of you really can’t be that dumb.
Ship at least one of them out this off-season. Maybe daddy will hire skippy boy genius
Wasn't that always the plan? This staff needs to get these younger players especially WR ready to perform with half the season left to go..
And our TE coach is a replacement no one was willing to hire as an assistant coach. He got his job by default. We have two coaches cutting their teeth in coaching
WR coach and OL coach
At least the WR coach has actually recruited in his life prior to coming here. More than the OL coach can say.
Yeah having the basically the same Oline, losing the receiving core and two of the top tree RB's wouldn't hurt at all, third string QB with no experience ,let's blame a coach. This isn't a video game , how can the offense jell ? 6 games in as well. How are they not being accountable ? I'd love to see a new coach do any better with this bucket of shit he's been handed. The season is not over either. Lord man.And that in itself is a problem. cronyism is a big problem in Lincoln especially on the offensive side of the ball.

Luv that he going to get more playing time.. big time potential in that young man.
You didn’t prove anything to defend the coaches ability. You just made excuses and smoked and mirrored the topic into another fight. strawman approach much?Yeah having the basically the same Oline, losing the receiving core and two of the top tree RB's wouldn't hurt at all, third string QB with no experience ,let's blame a coach. Somehow you think you can judge the ability of specific coaches based upon a rather meager sample size in the first year of their tenure, complicated by a decreasing amount of availability of players at the top of the roster. You didn’t prove anything to defend the coaches ability. Learn how to fight the actual topic. Want to defend them, prove it. Don’t disprove something we aren’t disputing
You know who does well in shitty situations? People who are great at their jobs
Do you think shitty people do good in shorty situations?
Let’s get this straight, I questioned their ability when their sample size was zero. I don’t think any of the position coaches were qualified to coach their position. I think the only reason they got the job is because who they know and not what they did. A small sample size still shows red flags. And pretty much every bad hire had the writing on the wall as a small sample size. People said the same shit to me with smiling Mike. How’d that turn out?Somehow you think you can judge the ability of specific coaches based upon a rather meager sample size in the first year of their tenure, complicated by a decreasing amount of availability of players at the top of the roster.
I think there are quality coaches on the defensive side of the ball, but they were helped by a shift to a scheme that massively took advantage of the present roster. On the flip side, there was severe pruning of the skill talent on the offensive side of the ball and that side is a work in progress, especially considering they were running an offense not at all like the present one last year.
So you pre-judged the offensive coaches and then convicted them based upon nothing. Something tells me you’d feel the same way regardless of their present record.Let’s get this straight, I questioned their ability when their sample size was zero. And I agree the defensive coaches are doing fantastic work. It’s fine bringing in an inexperienced 1 or 2 guys but don’t build a whole staff with it.

How do you think shitty employees do in shitty situations? Not great.
Red flags all over the place
Wrong. I thought the same with Dvoracek and Knighton originally. But man, the minute I herd Rob talk to players, I knew I was wrong. That’s a leader. And we will be lucky to keep Terrance. So you pre-judged the offensive coaches and then convicted them based upon nothing. Do you ever write anything with substance? Literally just looked at your message history. Everything is “you’re a clown or you’re an idiot”You are an idiot, find a new hobby
Kewan Lacy may be the gem of this class. I can’t fault EJ for getting 4/5 running backs deep at his room ready to go and all have had their moments, productive moments behind the OL.Wrong. I thought the same with Dvoracek and Knighton originally. But man, the minute I herd Rob talk to players, I knew I was wrong. That’s a leader. And we will be lucky to keep Terrance.
It’s not my fault there is just bad coaching on the offense. EJ’s stupidity likely cost us a game. And he ran out talent we could really use. AJ doing well at the U.
Donovan has had two years to do something about the problem at tackle. And Skippy can’t teach when he’s still learning
Quit changing the subject. This thread is about bashing coaches. So is Washington ok?
