Malachi Coleman

Of course:

Matt's parents eventually landed in State College, Pennsylvania. He walked on at Penn State, playing for teams that lost a total of eight games in his four seasons.

His parents knew Jerry Sandusky. Denny worked for the now-disgraced Second Mile organization for a year.

His position - Director.
If you are holding MR responsible for or even supporting what happened at PSU, then you should, morally, want him to go 0-12, never be hired again, and living under a bridge. You can't use that as a reason to hate, when it is convenient for your argument of the day, but still want Nebraska to do well under his watch. Pick one.

This is the correct take.

Because Nebraska Football is so much bigger than Matt Rhule.

no. and luck has nothing to do with it.

honorary board member from a thousand miles away is much different than cashing checks & working directly with Sandusky in the same town during the exact years he was indicted, prosecuted and found guilty of molesting kids in the foundation ('94-'97, the same years our HC was a LB in Sandusky's room).

if posting a simple fact I was asked to post by you makes me a dick in your mind, so be it.

I sense quite a bit of coping taking place here. you're welcome for educating you on this topic.
Wow-where to start.

So you’ve never been hired by a great talker at a great institution who was ethically weak – congratulations. Jack Raykovitz was president and CEO of The Second Mile, so again who knows what “director” means. Stop acting like Dennis Rhule ran the place. I’ve volunteered at NGO’s and there were “directors” who supervised no one and had limited roles.

Sandusky was charged in 2011, and how a walkon linebacker from 15 years earlier is responsible for what Sandusky did is beyond me. Or how anyone is responsible for what their father did or didn’t do is also beyond the pale.

Just keep on doing you – always confident, occasionally correct. You’re good at that.

Making some big leaps here.

Put down the sword, white knight. There are no accusations taking place.

Only an answer to a question you asked. Sorry you don’t like it.

In this case you are responding to a fact, not “BS”.
Distorted fact, without context. To make a point that is irrelevant to the character of our coach.

Try therapy.

So you wouldn’t support anyone convicted of sexual assault, right? In any line of work?
We are talking about child molestation, and, no, I wouldn’t support a child molestor in any line of work.

But I’m sure you have a brilliant point holstered.

Irrelevant?

Seeing your heroes and your college position coach - someone who undoubtedly visited for family dinners - dragged out into the light for something so heinous unquestionably would shake a man to his core

As I said, it’s likely nothing, but also could be a window into why Rhule cannot bring himself to let go of abjectly terrible coaches.

And just like that the goalposts were moved again. Magic!
We’re you attempting to liken James Franco to Jerry Sandusky?

What took place at pennst was not just sexual assault, no matter how good you think your “gotcha” was going to be

No, our current president.
Sorry the facts got in the way of that sure to be banger

Now can you attempt to explain how I “moved the goalposts”?

Or would you like to just take the L on that one?

You moved the goalposts by changing it from sexual assault to child molesting. But that’s fine. You draw the line at 18 years old. And since DT hasn’t been convicted of assaulting anyone under 18 yet he is golden, right?

I did no such thing

I was never talking about sexual assault ITT. Just penn st child molestation.

It was you who attempted to move the goalpost to fit your narrative.

I asked if you would support someone convicted of sexual assault in any line of work. You indicated that you wouldn’t. So I can assume you are a Harris supporter.

This question went unanswered because it is & remains not at all apropos to this discussion
