Duke just got screwed. Louisville receiver caught a pass on his 10 and was fighting for yards and fumbled. Duke recovered. Fumble was negated due to "forward progress being stopped". The receiver was stopped for a very short time before he fumbled. Made me think of Devine's fumble on the goal line after he was stopped for about 3 seconds, but still ruled a fumble.

Yeah this was in the middle of a freaking play that the ball was stripped. That call there completely changed the game..

Louisville isn't all that great. They're pretty much Lamar Jacksons feet, some decent blocking and that's about it.

I thought this was Suh, but I was wrong. Instant fumble, but Gabbert was ruled down because his forward progress was stopped.

Forward to 1:21 and watch until the end to see how quick the fumble was, yet no fumble was called.

ESPN's Andrea Adelson tweeted:

"Louisville held on to beat Duke, but it was not as easy as some anticipated it would be. Will the Cards see their playoff hopes take a hit because they didn't dominate? Will Lamar Jackson see his Heisman hopes take a hit because of the lackluster performance? Two big questions to ponder before next week."

I kind of hope LJ keeps up the highlights and keeps any attention from a 'Bama running back stealing it again because they are undefeated and no one else stands out.

As far as Louisville goes, this win was definitely not as impressive as their win over FSU. Wondering if the ACC is overrated. . .but conference games generally are hard fought and scores will be closer so they may still be a great team this year. Also, some teams just match up better.

The funny thing is that Jackson really wasn't lackluster by normal standards but his passing was pretty bad although I don't think he's a great passer to begin with. He made the Duke defense look silly on multiple plays. Duke just exposed Louisville in that game and offered up the blueprint for beating them when you're not Clemson. They controlled the pace of the game and kept it manageable, the result was hanging in there with a very prolific offense.

Jackson did well though, had some great Heisman like runs.

Was a pretty poor performance but they won. They have much more than just Jackson though, their skill position guys are good and their defense is very talented.

Yeah, I remember that. It was sorta like we didn't get flagged for helmet to helmet, and they didn't lose the ball. Say what you want about the B1G refs, they are still a cut above the Keystone Cops in the B12.

It's almost certain that Lamar Jackson will win the Heisman. Probably the best pure runner as a quarterback since Michael Vick, and the most elusive I've ever seen.

It's time for Alabama freshman QB Jalen Hurts to be a Heisman candidate

I knew ESPN would do this.

I have been busy with harvest for a month, is this guy really that good or is it just because he is a skill position player for the best team in the country?
TIA
