If this isn't the loudest game in memorial stadium history I'm gunna be pissed at all of you. I'll be there doing my part in the south stadium. Wherever you're sitting, whether that be at the very top of the east stadium or underneath the balcony in the west stadium, if people around you aren't screaming, punch them with words of anger. Let's make Hornytoad go deaf. GBR!

Agree. OU 78- the loudest ever. The stadium moved after the Ruud hit and subsequent non- fumble. 2 - CU92 Husker fans were loud on Halloween and nasty for once

So I’ve heard. I just wasn’t snuck into a big game until 1979 PSU.

When I was a kid you could still climb the fences to get into the games and watch from underneath the end zone seats. Not a good view but it was fun. Even if the guards caught you climbing the fence, most of them just let you go in anyway. I saw almost every home game this way from 1968 to 1977.

Took my 9 year old son to the Oregon game last year. Certainly one of the loudest I’ve been to. He still talks about how the stadium was shaking because it was so loud.

I miss the base drum leading the crowd with D FENCE, BOOM BOOM D FENCE. Haven't heard that in a while. Is there a rule against that now?

DeJuan Groce's punt return for a td against K-State in 2001 may be one of the loudest plays I've ever heard there. 1:26:02

That was loud but the loudest I ever remember was the year that Washington came in highly ranked and IF I remember correctly beat us at home. Can't remember the name of the stud pro-style QB they had but I think he played in the NFL for several years. The old west stadium concrete was shaking under my feet I think.
