Lots of chatter about the walk-ons being put on scholarship today - Updated - 6:20 pm

I can confirm that the scholarships to Luke McNitt, Austin Rose and Bryan Reimers are only for the second semester at this point. They have to earn it to be put on in the fall. A lot of that is based on recruiting numbers too.

But this is a very common practice to put walk-ons on scholarship for the second semester if money frees up from graduated seniors. Just wanted to clarify that, as this does not effect the scholarship 85 for August right now.


Update - 6:20 pm
Cole Conrad, Conner Ketter and Tyler Hoppes were also put on scholarship for second semester for a total of six players.
