I have lost 56 pounds since 12/31/2016 - just over 14 months ago, and just 14 pounds away from my goal of 70 pounds (much like Larry the Cable Guy - my goal was to lose 'an Olsen Twin').

So my question is around muscle tone work for old farts like me, any suggestion for what workout works best for building pure muscle mass in the arms/upper body for a male in the last third of his life? My legs are lean and muscled, but the upper body is not quite where I want it.

Current regimen is:
  • 3 days a week either biking or rowing (45-60 minutes without rests/stops, in the summer the bike sometimes goes a couple hours long)
  • 2 days a week in pilates/reformer/kettlebells/ light lifts and such
  • walk four or five days a week at least a mile (for coffee in AM, dinner on Friday, etc)
Looking for suggestions, expecting a certain amount of smart-asssedness in response but looking for ideas others have been successful using.
