Follow along here for live updates from Nebraska's weekly press conference this afternoon here at Memorial Stadium, as the Huskers look to bounce back this week against Northwestern.

Players are scheduled to meet with media around 11:30 a.m., while head coach Scott Frost will go at around 12:30 p.m.

***Cam Taylor-Britt is up.

***Taylor-Britt said he really couldn't tell you what a team could learn from a game like Ohio State. He said they didn't play the way they said they were going to, and they just have to move on.

***Taylor-Britt said Monday was a good practice and team was focused on getting better for Northwestern.

******Taylor-Britt said there was obviously something missing from the defense on Saturday night since they gave up so many yards and points, and the overall communication was lacking.

***Taylor-Britt said Nebraska "can't let Ohio State beat us twice" and it's "on to the next" this week. He said the big theme of the film session was improving communication on defense.

***Taylor-Britt said he remembers Northwestern's Flynn Nagel having a huge game last year, "and it can't be like that again for us to win." He said the DBs are challenging themselves to step up this week.

***That's all for Taylor-Britt.

***Dedrick Mills is up.

***Mills said he feels very comfortable lining up as a fullback and doing power runs. He said NU had been working on those looks for awhile and decided to break them out on Saturday.

***Mills said it's just the familiarity of playing at fullback back at Georgia Tech that helps him thrive in that role.

***Mills said everybody came back ready to go for Monday's practice.

***Mills said he feels "I've most definitely gotten way better" since the start of the season and he's starting to get a good feel for the offense. He said learning how to be patient and slow things down mentally were his biggest adjustments.

***That's all for Mills.

***Adrian Martinez is up.

***Martinez said he and the Huskers are "definitely aware of what happened last year" at Northwestern and they're looking forward to another opportunity to play this week.

***Martinez said Northwestern was a solid team that doesn't make many mistakes, especially on defense.

***Martinez said turnovers weren't "contagious" and were all a product of their own unique circumstances. He said NU would continue to put a big emphasis on ball security going forward.

***Martinez said NU has already turned the page on Ohio State and is fully focused on Northwestern. He declined to talk much about what happened on Saturday night since the Huskers want their full attention on Northwestern. "That (game) won't define this team."

***Martinez said he ran some I-formation "in middle school a little bit" but he was excited about running it more. He said the more reps he gets in those looks will make him more comfortable and instinctual operating the option.

***Martinez said he's already gotten some option pointers from Frost. "There's not a better person to learn that from than him."

***Martinez said Mills really did carry the ball around with him all week as a way to improve his fumbling issues. "I even tried to knock it away from him and couldn't do it."

***That's all for Martinez.

***Dicaprio Bootle is up.

***Bootle said Nebraska doesn't care what the odds are for their game against Northwestern because every game in this series has been close and they need to play a full four quarters to get a win.

***Bootle said today's practice was "up-tempo, high-intensity, high-paced." He said there are two ways a team can go after a loss like that, and Nebraska took the right path today.

***Bootle said one thing he was proud of on Saturday night was how no one on the team quit even as lopsided as the score was. That fight said a lot about what the team was made of.

***That's all for Bootle.

***Frost is up.

***Frost agreed that turnovers weren't "contagious" and a couple of the interceptions vs. OSU were just a result of Ohio State making great plays.

***Frost has only coached in one Northwestern game, but he's well aware of the wild history in the series.

***Frost said today was a "great practice" and the guys were still excited on what's still out there to accomplish.

***Frost said this was the time of year where every team starts to get a little tired and banged up, but with two more games until the first bye week, the Huskers needed to grind through and stay at their best.

***Frost said Darien Chase and Jaron Woodyard would likely get more playing time this week, because they need to get more guys going in that receiving corps.

***Frost said the pass protection wasn't good enough vs. OSU, and they need to run the ball better to take pressure off Martinez.

***Frost said one way they can help Martinez is allowing him to "deal with things he's expecting," meaning better snaps, better protection, and receivers being where they're supposed to be on routes.

***Frost said Ohio State "is No. 1 on my ballot" and is as good of a team as he'd ever gone up against.

***Frost said Northwestern's defense was physical, tough, and make you earn every yard you get.

***Frost said they'd been working on the I-formation and option stuff for a long time and the guys executed it well. "We'll see more of that stuff going forward," Frost said.

***Frost said they had to make sure Maurice Washington stayed on the field after being nicked up the past few games.

***Frost made it clear that it wasn't just a matter of Adrian playing poorly against Ohio State, as it was the entire offense.

***Frost said he called formations they ran options/fullback runs out of I-formation and double wing.

***Frost said Nebraska didn't have to wait until Saturday's game vs. Northwestern to regain momentum, as they could get a lot back tomorrow in practice depending on how they approach the week.

***Frost said the announcement of the new facilities will help Nebraska regain some of the advantages it had when he played here. He said NU had all the best of everything when he played, and these new facilities will be the best of the best in college football.

***Frost was asked about the California ruling on player likeness, etc., and he said there are points to be made for players to be compensated, but hopes it doesn't come at the cost of providing opportunities for athletes where that might not apply.

***Frost on the criticism of Martinez: "I can't believe he needs to be defended." He said a lot of it is just the nature of the quarterback position where there's usually too much praise and too much blame, and he's confident Martinez will continue to respond the right way just as he always has.

***Frost said he didn't think the Nebraska job was any harder than he expected, as he was well aware of where the program was when he took over. He's pleased with the progress so far and they just need to keep getting better. If that happens, the goals will be achieved.

***That's all for Frost.
