The eye strain from trying to scroll through that behemoth and pick out Nate's and Sean's avatars is mind bottling, y'all. (especially given the # of "tribute" avatars out there)
Can't we come up with something that works better? It is, after all, 2018.
2 different alternative suggestions I just came up with literally within the last minute that would each improve things tremendously:
1) Have questions submitted separately in their own thread. Can still be submitted live. Post answers in a different thread, so the answer thread just has Sean and Nate posts. Can "quote" the person you are answering so their question appears in the answer thread, just inside Nate or Sean's post.
OR
2) Create a small graphic, like 500x50 pixels or whatever, denoting "answer" posts... that way instead of having to scroll through looking for Nate or Sean's avatar we can just look for the "answer indicator" graphic in the body of the post. Something like this (but obviously have your graphics guys do a better job):
This would just require Nate and Sean to insert the graphic into each of their answer. The code doing so can be copied and pasted super fast each time they post an answer.
I'm sure there's other options/ideas as well that would work. You could outlaw any posts in the chat except for actual legit questions in order to reduce clutter, but that seems like it would ruin some of the fun and personality of RSS. Either of the two suggestions above would help a great deal. Or do something else.
Thank you for your consideration.
