Lincoln/SE Nebraska Mechanic Recs needed

I live ten miles south of Lincoln and am needing recommendations for a mechanic. Bought Grandpa’s ’94 GMC Sonoma when he passed, and it is needing some work, including replacing all ball joints and a full brake job.

While I have any motor heads here, the transmission will also need rebuilt/replaced as I don’t think it has ever had its fluid changed in its 130k mile life.

I value quality work over price but would like to save as many thousands of dollars as I can in the process.

So, anyone have any quality recommendations for a mechanic and/or transmission outfit in the Lincoln or southeast Nebraska area?
