This is crazy to see. Sounds like no injuries. Makes you wonder the fact Gretna still operates on a volunteer fire department puts them in a tough spot to handle situations like this? You have Omaha, Elkhorn, Bellevue, Papillion, etc. all serviced with full time stations. Gretna has tons of big housing developments and they are protected by a volunteer department that is not going to have near the response time. My neighbor is a fire captain and we actually talked about that a few months back. Your thoughts on this topic @sparky62?
