You really are as dumb as your sound. Last time I checked, the last time Neb. signed a KC kid was Boe Wilson in 2016. 😂😂
Which is pathetic and a long long time ago in the recruiting world.
I've seen porn stars that were better actors than you.

For crying out loud, the dude took my comment in Post 35 as a compliment. LOLYou're a f****** lying POS fraud. So there's that,

Just provided you with data, which is pathetic husker recruiting in KC area for YEARS. anyone who can't acknowledge that can't be helped. You're a f****** lying POS fraud. So there's that,

KC regularly puts out 3-5 excellent prospects every yr. and Neb. should be getting their choice given Lincoln's proximity to KCJust provided you with data, which is pathetic husker recruiting in KC area for YEARS. anyone who can't acknowledge that can't be helped.
it has long been a dream of mine to normalize handicapping & all the discussion surrounding it on this boardI played horses professionally for a long time. I'd love to share stories about the good and the bad, but it's not for everyone's consumption. And that's not the focus of this board.
But, in another forum, I can talk for days.
Tru Husker is an admisistrative guy in academia. He has many, many stories about hiring people, situations he has had to deal with, etc. It's what people do. They talk about what they DO, about what they know that non-academia types aren't aware of.
I know we have attorneys on here that could tell us about some cases that are hilarious, sad, and vicious, the pros and cons of the judicial system. All the while, they wouldn't have to name names or anything that would compromise what the case was about. But, people love to talk about what they do. Or at least most people do.
The only assumption you can make with this make-believe recruiter is he has no stories worth sharing in a forum where opinions and stories are the main content. This forum is about athletes and teams and how we all see them.
Isn't this the setting a recruiter should enlighten all of us with his knowledge that is beyond our pay grades? Constantly avoiding and side-stepping questions is a certain path to zero credibility.
The dude either needs to put up or shut up.
There may a handful of guys who enjoy the challenge of posting about who they like or don't like because of the spread/over/unders. I don't wager on football, but I do enjoy the idea of looking at which teams are a very high percentage of ATS and those that aren't.it has long been a dream of mine to normalize handicapping & all the discussion surrounding it on this board
it's working
people used to never, ever post lines in the titles of their threads (except our friend @scarletred who must get an advanced copy of the USA today). now, it's pretty commonplace.
I hope people view this as a positive. as you know, degeneracy leads to much analysis & can provide alternative perspectives into things a couple layers under the surface
also - when you want to start a 'Bad Beats'-esque forum, I can guarantee you will have at least 1 member
Listen troll, my comment correctly pointed out that you said “I’ll do the homework” and then you posted no actual facts. I can’t read your mind dumbass. I don’t give a shit who Nebraska has or hasn’t recruited in KC, my point that you’re a loser troll stands. You really are as dumb as your sound. my private chats are always open - especially for winners! There may a handful of guys who enjoy the challenge of posting about who they like or don't like because of the spread/over/unders. One of the really outstanding teams ATS at home is Oregon State. They were being blown out by Oregon, not only did they recover, they flat-out won. Even Princeton was 11-0 ATS the spread I believe in the over/under. It's probably the type of data I would use if I wanted to play football.
It's not likely I will ever bet on football because the ROI is minuscule compared to horses. If I did it would have to be 5-6 team parlays to even come close to the type of ROI I made with horses.
I've never touted a horse to anyone online simply because there really are some degenerate gamblers out there (I know some) and anytime you don't know the financial condition of someone you could be doing some real damage in furthering their plight.
I'd even "considered" having you hook up with me in the private chat and suggesting a horse or two if that's your pleasure. But, so far, I've resisted. It's just that after 55 years of playing horses and specializing in trainer intent, it is a pure fact the game is centered on drugs, equipment, and trainer intent. Once you have a super-defined book on trainers around the country, the money is very easy to make. I know guys will say "bullshit", but I could teach them more about horses and gambling in 10 minutes than they've learned in their lifetime. Again, I can write a book on any aspect of horseracing that can be suggested.
I spent years learning about the effects of PEDs, bronchial dilators, Epogen, Lasix, etc, so I knew who was good and not good with the added stimulants. Then you have the different bridle types like the Cornell Collar which can be used to prevent a horse from swallowing its tongue during duress and stop running like they hit a brick wall. Horseracing is a really dirty sport. Its very essence is to fool the public. You convince, through 3-4 lousy races in a row that the horse is a piece of shit, then you spring the trap and make a small fortune.
There was a time when I had 300 trainers across the country that I played. But only in certain spots. Anyhow, don't want to bore people with anymore, but I could type from now (12:15 pm) until 12:15 a.m. tomorrow and I wouldn't even be getting started.
That's one of the things about the self-proclaimed recruiting analyst is why he is so secretive about what he claims is his expertise. If someone is a pro, they should gladly speak about it and see if someone benefits from it. Enough of this.
didn't one of the best quarterbacks in the KC area last year come to Nebraska? You really are as dumb as your sound. Last time I checked, the last time Neb. signed a KC kid was Boe Wilson in 2016. 😂😂

I like your conviction to actually STATING your position on a game. Same with scarlet and used to be Tuco had some opinions. There's a clear line drawn in my mind between 2 football teams and a horse, and I stay where I've had success and at almost 69 years old, it doesn't sync up with my ROI requirement. But, that's what makes the world go 'round.my private chats are always open - especially for winners!
I don't pretend to be a pro handicapper, but it's an enjoyable (responsible) hobby that happens to produce a ton of experience/knowledge/insight as a byproduct
I have been lucky enough to share a few boxes with some real whales, specifically NBA guys who identify and hammer trends for large swaths of seasons before anyone else - books included - adjusts
the perspective from these analytical robots usually cuts straight through
Not to my memorydidn't one of the best quarterbacks in the KC area last year come to Nebraska?

I'm not a whale because I won't bet a lot to win a little. Most of the whales in horseracing are decent handicappers but they make most of their money on rebate shops. That's not for me.
The difficulty with MOST gamblers is they don't know what they're good at, some think they're good at everything, and that's usually a false premise. I know a friend for 60 years, at one time one of the Top 100 pool players in the world. He could make 10K playing pool in a week, hop in his car, drive to Hot Springs, Arkansas to play horses, and come back home 3 days later busted.
Not even enough to fill up his car with gas. Incredible pool player, and a total failure at ponies, but he needed the rush I guess. His choice, but now he's 70 years old living on 490.00 a month in Social Security. But, he has a million great stories.
My wife of 47 years never had a problem with me playing horses. I never spent a nickel of house money. She knew my philosophy at the track was "any social success will result in a business failure". In other words, I wasn't there to bs with my friends or chase skirts, I was there to increase my bankroll. It was a very good arrangement.
Enough of that. Keep doing your thing kong! Some guys can get it done and most can't. If it were easy, everyone would do it, right? It's not for me but I do admire those that play a team for particular reasons and get the satisfaction of cash when they're right. Football games take 3 1/2 hours to know if you were right or wrong. In horses, it can take a minute and 10 seconds. LOL
Thanks. My son always says I can never say in 3 sentences what I would rather say in 3 paragraphs.99.9% of posts that are as long as the ones you post I am lucky to get thru 3 sentences...I always read all of yours. I find them pretty entertaining and I am sure I'm not the only one.

I try not to get too carried away with talking horses because it probably belongs in the Open Scrolls portion of this website. To my way of thinking, horseracing is the best and the worst of sport due to the human factor.
I could write posts that would be very comprehensive and likely lose some people due to their being unfamiliar with the terminology. I don't want to come off as a "knowitall" and sometimes I'm sure it comes across that way. But, when it comes to the sport of horseracing, I know 99.9% of the entire industry and how it is operated.
Just as a side note, I've been following horses since I was 12 years old, and next month I'm 69. Among so many things it's about numbers, but as someone once said, "all numbers can be counted, but not all numbers count." That is so true in so many aspects of life.
People buy the Daily Racing Form, it's been around for 100 years or so. I haven't bought one in 30 years. To me, it is like having 100,000 people looking at the same information, and those who can understand what the numbers actually MEAN are no different than the stock exchange. You and I can look at a stock and we each will attach different importance to different aspects of that stock. You may be an earnings guy, maybe I'm an R &D guy. We look at the same massive amounts of data, yet we are applying focus on different elements of those numbers. It's no different than the Racing Form, those that can determine what numbers actually matter will outpace the others by a lot.
It would probably be a lot of fun for me to post things on the Open Scrolls about the sport of horseracing. I have a gazillion stories over the years. I personally know 5 Hall of Fame jockeys and I've sat with them while they discuss a specific race that was running in a couple days. It's amazing the race result was exactly as it was described to happen. It wasn't fixed, just one horse who wasn't ready, one who hadn't been training well, another wasn't eating well, and one horse who was sharp as a nail. The public doesn't know that, and I never even played the race because shit happens in a horse race.
It's a dirty sport. A lot of bad people are involved. If a guy hasn't done their homework, and unless they are just lucky, they likely will lose their money. I never needed good luck, I just wanted to avoid bad luck.
Sorry for the long post. I expect I could get a few TLDRs, and that's cool. It's still a football forum.

wouldn't think I'd need to provide this info to a twice promoted national recruiting analyst, but here you go:
has been a Cornhusker for a year now. pretty bad job by you missing that one.

Touched a nerve you did!😂😂
I'll do the homework for you because you suck.
Husker recruiting has been awful in KC for a long time. You're an idiot if you don't see that and no pills can overcome your idiocy

You are a lying POS.No, I really am a national recruiting analyst. I used to cover the southeast region for about 5 yrs. and then southwest for 2 before being promoted to current role nationally. Lots of camps and meeting with recruits. It can be tiring for sure
