Back around 71 or 72, I stumbled into a tavern on Bourbon St & Fats was singin' alongside Clearence "Frogman " Henry.

He might have been the best piano man in the early days of R&R, and that includes such greats as Little Richard and Jerry Lee Lewis. He certainly was one of a kind.
Side note: Fats was at the last concert of 1969 for Elvis. Elvis referred to Fats as the real king of Rock & Roll. Ain’t that the truth!
