Exactly. I don't understand the love affair with him. I like him personally, but your typical Nebraska fan is going to get tired of him real quick even if he's winning.

The call in shows and post boards will be filled with complaining about Lane.

I was wrong. Lane Kiffin is much worse than Bo Pelini.

True. However, Layne is coaching an SEC team and getting screwed by hot co-eds., while Bo is coaching his kids JV high-school team and jacking to " caught in a washing machine" porn. Worse?
Yeah, all that crap means he lives his best life. Coaching but not winning and getting some ass. Priorities and stuff. Do you guys really think this way?
So, basically all the coaches the fans wanted turned out to be duds. Lane, Lance, Mark Stoops, etc. The only one we don't know about is Rhule, and judging by what I've seen so far from the other coaches, that's a good thing.
Bo lost the fire which led to the game passing him by. And yet, his last season as HC for a P5 team yielded 9 wins.
Kiffin is heralded as some offensive genius in the same vein as Lincoln Riley & Ryan Day, yet he averages fewer than 8 wins per year (84 wins over 11 seasons).
The reality is, a lot of people want to see him as a genius that he just isn’t. He spends more time whining on Twitter at reporters than building a team that beats quality opponents.
It is interesting how Lane has either been "protected' by the media or perhaps it is just that he is currently at a school with so little football history that their fans really are just happy to be mentioned.
And Pelini was heralded as some defensive genius. So what? Neither is coaching at Nebraska now and one is t coaching at all.
Let it go!
And he almost looked like one when he was DC for multiple National Championship visits and made it to back to back to back conference titles as a head coach.
