Laminate flooring - what underlayment do I need?

Im poor - glad to get that out of the way

Im installing pego max premier laminate in living room, 12mm .. sub floor is plywood

any recommendation on under layment? Do i need to the pergo gold premium 3mm underlayment or can I get away with something cheaper that is just as good?
