Ohio St currently has 3 RBs committed in this class. All 3 ranked higher than Lacy. Maybe they'll give us one of theirs.
^^^This^^^. In this new era of college football we all tend to ignore the elephant in the living room: Money. His decommitment could be as simple as that. We are going to have to seriously upgrade our NIL offers or we are going to be left in the dust. Some on here keep claiming that we do offer a lot of NIL money. But I do not see us showing up on any of the top NIL lists. Perhaps I am wrong about that. But we are going to have to pay for the blue chip guys that everybody else wants to. And we better be able to pay well...

Maybe a bit pie-in-the-sky here but if Sam Pittman gets fired at Arkansas, you throw the farm at him for OL coach and really get this offense rolling. The day one difference a position coach can make is playing out before our eyes.

We need to win and provide respectable NIL offers. That’s all we can expect. If we need to get into bidding wars For some kid, then no. I don’t mind a kid looking to make some good money while he plays a college game, but if that’s THE main drive, homie don’t play and he can go f himself.
Also, don’t commit when you don’t have the stones to stick to it.
I was surprised as every week went by that he was still committed. There’s lots of good backs out there. We’ll be fine.
Technically NU can’t direct NIL dollars. I’m kind of with Rhule though on bidding on recruits. We’ve had lightly recruited backs end up in the NFL. There’s guys out there. We’ve also had those high 4 star guys who didn’t do squat.

No doubt. Put together your best deal and he can take it or leave it. If he starts negotiating, he can gtfo because his agenda is only $$$, and will bolt as soon as more $$$ comes along. Win enough, offer a good package, if they don’t want it, move along.
Heck, he was probably one of those kids who wasn't getting attention that Rhule likes to recruit. Just too bad that he blew up and then didn't have the loyalty to stick with his "commitment". There is nowhere else where that word means as little as it does as in the recruiting world.
Yeah was definitely expecting it sooner or later. I'm sure we will find another RB. But will he be AS good? I honestly doubt it. That kid was really good. Who knows though...
BTW..do you know who number 33 is on the GBRewind video? He looked really good running the ball. Or maybe it was 23 😆.

We should find two or three replacements for him. RBs get hurt often and a lot don’t pan out.
I just hope in a year or so he says to himself, "I should have gone to Nebraska".
