I just took a quick at the Rivals 100 and didn't notice any kickers in the top 100. In my view, kickers are critical to the success of any team and should be ranked accordingly. When we tragically lost Sam Foltz last year our defense suffered. Think about not having a kicker the quality of Drew Brown. I remember the Colorado game when Alex Henry kicked the game winning field goal. In my view Kickers are as important as any other position on the team and I think most coaches would agree. After all, every coach talks about the three phases of the game, offense, defense and special teams. If that's the case it would seem that kickers are very important part of one of the three key phases of the game and should be listed in the Rivals 100.
