This should be a great matchup and will be one of the deciding factors in the game. Khyri is known for his defensive lockdown abilities. Glynn is the catalyst for the Husker offense.
I think one of the only ways NU wins is if Khyri gets into foul trouble. Tim needs to attack him right from the get go. I expect NU to test the waters with a man to man defense, but I think they will switch it up at some point to a 2-3. CU struggles mightily with the 2-3 zone. I think NU’s length will pose some problems if CU doesn’t shoot well from the perimeter.
Jays win if Glynn let’s Khyri shut him down. I don’t think NU has enough fire power to overcome a poor performance by Watson. Also, NU needs to quickly transition from offense to defense or it may lead to some easy fast break points for the Jays. Pick and roll defense will also be a huge factor. Krumpelj has 3-4 dunks per game off of that play.
Can’t wait for Saturday!
