Despite an unfortunately-timed Achilles rupture/surgery a couple weeks ago, the wife and I are heading to Key West for a week at the end of January (not ideal give the injury, but I will be traversing via a knee scooter adorned with a cupholder and parrot horn). We usually go to Anna Maria Island every year in the winter, but with the Hurricanes, decided to mix things up and check out KW (where neither of us have been).
Already have received quite a few suggestions from friends and colleagues, but figured I'd open it up to the other .01%ers that make up the majority of this board.
So any suggestions on restaurants, bars, sites, etc. are appreciated. As for restaurants, a few spots we currently have planned are:
Little Pearl
Cafe Marquesa
El Meson de Pepe
Bel Mare
FYI, we're flying direct into KW (so not really looking for suggestions in other parts of the keys) and staying at Pier House, which is on the water near all the Duval St action and Mallory Square.
