So, no one else is hearing this? It was on both sides of the court. Not just rooting for the team (UK) as a whole, but also for individual players and the Calipari. Nauseating indeed.Originally posted by shine003:

ESPN.com said the game is on TBS. I didn't know of separate audio feeds. I just want normal coverage that isn't biased. The only time I want a biased feed is when it's for NU and even then I'd rather just have a normal feed.Originally posted by mwulf:

LOL great example of sportsmanship. Play the race card then back pedal as fast as you can when you get caught.Originally posted by HuskerTimOmaha:

Yep, as a former teacher I know that to young black kids, the "n-word" is just like the word "dude" is to white people. They call everyone of every race that word.Originally posted by mwulf:
classless yes...racist not even a little bit....I despise the use of that word by anyone but I am not naive enough to think he meant it in any other way than slang....have to realize that in the black culture its not used or interpreted as a slur like if Kaminsky would have said it about Harrison ....its a double standard but its also accurate
From my understanding they use the slang differently.Originally posted by Harry Caray:

Sorry, but the double standard is the only reason that context matters. If Frank had said that EXACT same thing in the exact same situation...no one would stand up and try to argue context. Was what Harrison said racist? Not really...but it was derogatory and vulgar. And at the end of the day, how is that any different than a racist comment?Originally posted by mwulf:
this is pretty spot on
Andrew Harrison was not complimenting Frank Kaminsky, make no mistake about that, but he was not slurring him, either. Context. It matters. So does perspective, and that's what any conversation about race - any conversation worth having - demands. Bring context and perspective to it, or sit it out. This topic is way too complicated, too dangerous, to be dictated by the unsophisticated.
The comment shows more about his character than if he is a racist or not, as does the response from Kaminsky reflect his character..Originally posted by shine003:
