Ugggg, remember when teachers were heroes when Covid first hit! Drive by graduations, drive by end of the year parties.

Then we made the mistake of sort of mentioning that MAYBE just MAYBE we should still teach online.

And all the ****ing parents lost their minds because they realized they hated "working" from home while their kids were also at home. Because they realized that their kids are annoying.

We totally tipped our hand, we should have read the room better and we could also be "working from home"

This is all a joke. I hated teaching online.

The War Powers Act of 1973 would like a word.

OMG! 😆🤣😆🤣

You didn’t even read the 1st paragraph of the “war powers act” you linked 🤣.

Here, I copied and pasted it for you and highlighted the part you didn’t read or didn’t understand…

The War Powers Resolution (also known as the War Powers Resolution of 1973 or the War Powers Act) (50 U.S.C. ch. 33) is a federal law intended to check the U.S. president's power to commit the United States to an armed conflict without the consent of the U.S. Congress. The resolution was adopted in the form of a United States congressional joint resolution. It provides that the president can send the U.S. Armed Forces into action abroad only by declaration of war by Congress, "statutory authorization", or in case of "a national emergency created by attack upon the United States, its territories or possessions, or its armed forces".

So… the war powers act specifically says the president DOES NOT need congressional approval if American troops, territories or possessions are threatened.

Game, Set, Match.

I don’t care if you started the thread or not. Your input shows how little you know about the real world. Everything you posted.

Especially posting a comment about Trump can’t keep a secret about a military operation? If it was something about Stormy Daniels, or some other negative BS you would sing a different tune about his ability to keep secrets.

That clearly shows your feelings about Trump. Again, you look for any reason to whine and cry.

Folks that don’t like Trump are going to take anything that he does and spin it and exaggerate it, to fit their narrative
I'm not hiding my feelings for Trump. It's fun watching people change the narrative. It went from an isolationist, wars are expensive, we will negotiate an end to Ukraine, to all the sudden jumping into the fray of another war. And the puppies all follow along and lap up the new narrative. Same will happen with the deficit, just like last time.

Says the guy who watches "The View" So He can formulate his opinion on world issues. Keep it up Whoopi.😂
A grown man bringing the view into a discussion with other grown men.... haha. You paint such a clear picture of yourself. I have a job, a wife, and kids. Plus endless hobbies. Sounds like you sit an your apartment watching politics and the view all day. Not me.

What’s crazy is if Democrats in congress got their way we would be officially declaring war on Iran. That’s what a congressional approval would be. Forcing the president and cabinet to telegraph their actions and potentially jeopardizing the mission. Simultaneously they would leak any information (true or false) that they think paints the administration poorly which will also jeopardize the mission’s success. When things don’t go smoothly, American soldiers get killed, captured or injured they would blame the president for everything.

You see, they’re mostly mad that this mission was executed so perfectly and they weren’t given the opportunity to screw it up and then blame the president.

Good God you’re not very bright.
You continue to show how little you know about the world.

We didn’t start a war. Iran doesn’t have the capability to “go to war.”

Iran and the Russia v Ukraine deals are completely different.

You don’t even get that you’re still whining and crying because Trump hurt your feelings.

The more you type, the worse, if that’s even possible, you look.

It’s better to let people think you’re stupid than to speak and remove all doubt.

Bingo. They are crying they weren't informed beforehand. I wouldn't trust any of those leftist commies with a coffee order.

We jumped into the middle of a war. Israel is getting hit with missiles. For a week. While bombing the shit out of Iran.

Admin wants to execute an isolated targeted military strike to eliminate a threat to world and national security. Which is well within the president’s power laid out in the “War Powers Act” which was highlighted by a resident leftist with poor reading comprehension. Iran’s threat to produce nuclear weapons, their orchestration of Oct 7 and the killing of 43 Americans and 7 American hostages. They countless attacks on our military bases and funding of terrorism all more than qualify as a national emergency in which the president DOES NOT need congressional approval to execute a military strike.

But the Democrats are like… “NO! We can’t execute an individual targeted strike! We need to declare war on Iran!”

🤣 It’s fvcking hilarious 🤣

So your saying that Russia and or China will start a war with the United States because of Iran? A country whose military is decimated and now has zero threat of obtaining nukes?

Your statement is the one that won’t age well friend.

China better hope Israel doesn't start hitting oil fields.

Or Trump will have them by the balls between tariffs and lack of energy.
