We'll cover a lot of what we talked about tomorrow in our interview (also plenty of chances for fans to ask him questions), but I thought it was interesting that he and Mark Whipple have talked every single day (even Christmas and Christmas Eva) since he went into the portal. He said Whipple's offense is a quarterback's dream and he's excited to get going in it.
He also said that the minute Adrian Martinez went into the portal, he knew Nebraska was going to be a place he wanted to go. He's excited everything all worked out.
I also found it interesting talking about NIL with him. He said really only a few Texas players this year benefited from it, and Nebraska is the best he has seen in terms of all the opportunities for the athletes on campus. That is something he said he wants to talk about more tomorrow.
