I just spoke with Mesa Community College defensive coordinator Chenelle Jones and he told me that Will Jackson just graduated from junior college and is posting his transcript to be cleared.
Coach Jones said that Jackson is "a legit 6-3 & 1/2, 192-pounds with 4.5 track speed."
We may be speaking with Jackson in about an hour's time when he is free, but for now Coach Jones believes that Jackson could come to Nebraska and be eligible for the coming season if the Husker staff wants him now.
We will try to get full clarification on all of this when we speak with Jackson sometime today.
