Klatt is just another talking head I don’t pay any mind too. I stopped watching Gameday last year because I couldn’t handle looking and listening to chief moron Desmond Howard. That guy is truly incapable of being unbiased. But Klatt is a sCUm graduate, so you could be right. But in regards to Colorado…. that conference has been relegated to a bunch of wannabes. When BYU and Iowa State are your best, then your conference is damn near mid major. Of course their record is what it is….they’re benefitting from playing nobodies.

I've never thought he was anything other than a CU homer, which makes perfect sense, and a really entertaining analyst. Never once thought he was a Nebraska fan and I doubt anyone else really does either.

One of my favorite posters but it does seem like you're just reaching for a fight here. I ****ing hate Colorado and Coach Optimus Diddy vibes. But right now they look better than we do. Win in OT against Illinois or Beat OSU and we are media favorites (refs need more to be on board). Not shit the bed against Indiana and holy shit! But alas we didn't make the plays, or we did and the refs hate us depending on your narrative. Not to mention the raping we took from the Hoosiers( i heard banjos by the 3rd quarter).... Now we are 5-3 AGAIN! And Joel Klatt has a job to do first and foremost. No he isn't a closet Husker fan. Yes he remembers a time when Nebraska was top dog. I fully expect Klatt to be a sCUm homer. Aren't they all at least a little biased toward their alma mater ? Herbstreit - OSU, Desmond - Michigan, Rece - Alabama, Fowler - sCUm, Brian Jones - Texas, and on and on and on. None of them really tries very hard to hide it. I also don't have any delusions that Klatt is in any way, shape or form a Nebraska fan. In fact, it's likely the contrary. Outside of that, I find Klatt to be one of the more knowledgable and easier to listen to talking heads out there.
I thought he brought more attention to the b.s. calls going against us then anyone I can remember. He's better to listen to then FS1 and Peacock crews, I know that much. I think he broadcasts enough of our games that he knows a decent amount about us. Some of these announcers that broadcast us once don't seem to know anything about and it's annoying to listen to then read notes and act like they know.
God who cares? He is in the sports entertainment business. Of course he is going to love Colorado, but he's a big CFB guy. Is what it is. He's a really good announcer and I enjoy listening to him on Saturday's. If he found a better partner than Gus he would be awesome.
Gus tries too hard. His fake enthusiasm is annoying.
I also feel like Gus is fading fast in the brain and memory department. Id give him 2 more years in the booth and they need to put him out to pasture. Guessing they will continue to 'weekend at bernies' him like they do to Corso on gameday.
Damn, just looked it up. He is only 57. Maybe its just me. He seems a lot older. He mixed up several names the other day and just seemed to be fumbling all over himself more than usual. Maybe it was just a 1 off
