“A simple note to the schools and coaches that have blatantly broken NCAA Football rules by tampering with our players in the last 24 hours. We do know who you are, we will pursue all avenues to hold you accountable. We are excited that we’ve built a program where coaches have to cheat to beat us and we will protect that program. Think hard before you tamper with our players.”

It will be interesting to see what, if anything, he can do about it.

It's cheating but I don't think there are any teeth available to prevent it. And offending schools can always get around it with agents, family contacts or other go-betweens. Given the reality, you might as well do it because your competition is doing it. The winners will be the ones with the most money to spend on talent acquisition.

Good for him. I hope there’s consequences for coaches cheating, but I won’t hold my breath.

Was going to say that. Never had an issue with Mora and his reaction to what happened to Nate was great.
HIs old man was known to be honest to a fault. Mora has a good thing going up in Storrs. Major College Indy, so he and the AD can pick schedules that routinely produce bowl appearances. I'm sure the UCONN football people would like to build a program that would draw attention of a P4 conference, but the UCONN basketball people (I am one of those) have no interest in leaving the Big East.

I think they thought they were going to the big 12? no real conference tv money, 2nd to the basketball program and not a lot of NIL puts them in a tough spot .

If the bb team could pick a league other than the BE, I think it would be the B1G. But the UCONN FB Program is not even at the level of a Maryland.
