NU really hasn't utilized the jet sweep very much when, in the past, it was kind of a staple in the Mike Riley offense. Does NU not run it much because they don't have the WR to run it or is it the fact that our TE's aren't great blockers and because of it we have a hard time setting the edge? I think we have some guys that could run it(Tyjon, DPE, Speilman, etc) I would think that even the threat of the jet sweep would help with the inside run game. Just faking it to a sweep guy would help take a linebacker or two out of the middle.
