Jerry finally whacks MM-Prime to the Boys?

I hope BB leaves for the NFL and NC is stuck with his kid. Unless he’s part of the package with daddy.
I also hope prime a donna gets the boys job. That would be interesting as heck.

Bill

Bill Belichick. It’s been reported ( believe it or no) that he has not signed his contract with North Carolina yet .
holy cow, they just keep recycling these dudes like non-biodegradable plastic bottles. chicago interviewing the boys' former coach takes the cake.

Yep..people actually believe Jerry is trying to win another Super Bowl. It's hilarious.

He doesn't gaf about winning a SB.

It’s hard to tell if Jerry’s decisions are so bad it just appears that winning a Superbowl is not his top priority? Yes, his questionable decisions and his questionable execution of those decisions drums up a lot of media hype. But I think that would happen anyway/regardless and I think we’ll see that when Jerry’s gone the Cowboys will still dominate the news and make tons of money.

Personally, I think Jerry would love another Superbowl before he dies. I just don’t think he has the competency and capability to be an effective GM. But he also can’t give up the role because it would be admitting failure, and if the new GM actually gets it done… Jerry won’t let that happen. He’s his own worst enemy. (with regards to winning a SB)

Say what you like about Deion, but he isn’t dumb. Staying at CU would be better for his coaching career than going to the Cowboys would be. If he puts out another good season or 2 he will have chances to move up to a better college program or a better NFL organization than the Cowboys are. Seems to me that going to the cowboys would be a dead end.

That assumes a couple things. One, that maximizing his coaching career is something Deion cares about. Deion cares about maximizing Deion.

Two, that his teams will perform like 2024 despite losing a Heismann winner on both sides of the ball and top 5 NFL pick at QB. He commented this week on how he entered a team meeting, and that it felt different without Shedeur, Travis and Shilo.

The Cowboys provide a much bigger stage with more marketing opportunities. And he doesn’t have the risk of struggling at CU without his luggage.

I could see Deion thinking the Cowboys job is the best job ever. I'm sure he's more aware than most about that job's shortcomings (jerry), but I could also see him having enough of an ego to think he'll be the one who can succeed despite Jerry.

Jerry will give him 3-5 years to figure it out as well. (if Jerry lives that long) Every other franchise/owner will axe Deion (or any other coach) after his 2nd year if things go south. Jerry gives his coaches time, even if it’s unwarranted.

This Jerry has not paid much buyout money for the coaches he had fired.

AND I could see him smoozing and standing up to him as well

Being a lifelong Dallas fan, I really hope Sanders is not chosen, but am afraid he will be.

The drunken argument after J Johnson's second Superbowl win in a row set the path for the next 30 years of failure.

Jerrah has a huge ego, to the detriment of winning.

This said, I expect him to hire the charlatan, and Sanders will kiss the ring. Neither of them have a strong moral compass in my opinion.

Very good point. Like I said before Deion isn’t dumb but his ego could sure lead him into bad decisions.

I love that people think the UNC AD would not "give the keys" to Bill before he signed his contract. This is not a ****ing job at the YMCA where you are waiting for a background check before you let the new guy "close by himself"

Especially if companies continue to pay neon for sponsorship/ads. JJ would love the publicity

Sorry. Did you ever start a job without signing a contract? Would you leave a job if you didn't have a signed contract?

Granted we're talking apples and oranges here. Not everyone is bb. But if bails this will become a ad 101 curriculum material

BB had to sign something before he can jump on an airplane and officially recruit for NC . There are rules in place.

Yes I have taken jobs without signing a contract and I have had access to the building without signing a contract.

Obviously not talking millions of dollars. Like I said, apples and oranges
That is my point. Clearly BB is going to get way more leeway then I am.

That was my point, he is not the night shift closer at the YMCA. He is BB. You are NOT not going to give him his keycard until his background check clears and until he signs. That would be odd.

Is it not smart? Maybe.

But it would be odd to be like "Sorry Bill, you can't come into your office yet, you still have not signed and we still don't have that background check from HR"

Time will tell. I'll be eating popcorn watching the developments. But if it falls apart most people will probably say to unc ad, nice try and we applaud your efforts, but you were an idiot

I am not 100% sure but I think Bo started his job at NU and did not sign a contract for a few months? He just did a handshake with TO

Michael Lombardi is the GM of North Carolina football.

But he can't recruit without a signed contract!!!!

Or something
Didn’t say it had to be his official contract. But Bill B had never coached in he NCAA before. There has to something on paper that allows him to recruit for a NCAA member institution. Just saying.
