I just spoke with Eden Prairie, Minnesota receiver/athlete JD Spielman and he said he is on his way to Lincoln right now. His mother is coming with him and they will be staying on campus through Sunday morning.
Spielman said that he is already familiar with Nebraska's facilities from his prior unofficial visit to NU this spring and this time he will be focusing on the academic aspect of Nebraska's program, as well as watching them practice at night.
Spielman said that he is down to two schools -- Nebraska and Minnesota -- and that he is shooting to have a final decision made by late August or early September.
He said that his decision will come down to where he and his family believe is the best fit for him, the roster and depth chart at his position, and where he will feel most comfortable playing his college ball.
