Jaylon Johnson announces Friday...

Well, I believe he has only taken 2 official visits, with Nebraska has been one of them, so that would help our chances. I assume he plans to take more, so I am not sure his recruitment will be over with a commitment. I don't have a feeling one way or another with him. I think he had a very good visit to NU.

A lot of people are saying Utah, which absolutely blows my mind.

What were his public comments about his NU visit?

"After the visit, he tweeted "I thank GOD for giving me the opportunity to visit #GBR I thank all fans, Coaches and players for welcoming me with open arms." He also spoke highly of the visit in interviews with Huskers Illustrated and Husker Online.

"So who is JJ is picking for College??? Fresno St? Nebraska? Cal ? Arizona? ASU? Oregon? I'm thinking Utah How bout you?"

His choices to vote for did not include Nebraska...

He visited ASU last weekend, not sure if thats good or bad. I wouldnt be surprised in the least if he stays here out west. Would be a sick pickup for us though, we need some DBs.

I like how people on here pretend Utah hasn't been the better program the last decade

I understand it's his decision and I do think Kyle Whittingham is a good coach buuuuuttt, by my quick math they've gone 87-41 while NU has gone 88-47 in the last decade. The last decade might feel like it's been better for Utah, but only because Utah is happy with 9-4 while NU is not.

Since Utah has been in a power 5 conference they are 44-27 nebraska is 50-23 in that same time

Would have been nice to have him...but that's a deep position for us right now...Don't forget about Eric Lee and Dismuke.....on top of Aaron playing the nickel.

Theoretically we return our top 4 corners next year.
