Jayden Daniels is clearly the best QB out of last years draft

Tommy Devito winning two meaningless games cost the Giants a shot at JD but doubt they would have been smart enough to draft him.

Jayden went to an ideal situation and looks fantastic. I realize the trolling going on but the Bears are in dire need of mgmt change. Very similar to our own misfortune of bad coaching and decisions from above. Hopefully Rhule has made good staff changes. The bears fate is yet to be decided. Bring in a good coach for Williams, try like hell to assemble an OL from draft and FA. And develop and identity best suited for Willams talent.

The Bears have cast doubt that any of the above will happen from past action

I don't think Kingsbury is a great HC but he understands offensive football. Terrific OC.
That's the tough part about this. In order for the struggling teams to get that great OC, they have to hire him as a head coach and then hope that the new hire can bring in great coaches with him to the new staff.

The Bears are woefully in need of ownership change.

Good coaches who fail in their current situation are in a unique position to know exactly what changes needs to be made. If that good coach is fired and replaced with a different coach, then the process resets. The new guy has to get "his guys" for "his system", blah blah blah. I'm glad Rhule got that eight year contract and has (or did have) the job security to stick around long enough to see those changes through.

The excessive trolling is looking a little pathetic. But yes, Daniels has had a hell of a rookie season. Damn fun to watch. So did RG3, so let’s go ahead and keep watching football. Success isn’t linear.

Daniels weighed about a buck fifty when a freshman starter at ASU. Supposedly he is 210 now, which has to be a joke. Fortunately, he is really good at missing the big hits.

Hes the real deal. A pure passer with just enough RPO

He’s great at the RPO game. He almost always makes the correct read and is so much faster than defenders expect him to be. I’m not sure who he reminds me of? He has more arm talent than most dual threat players of the past. He’s way ahead of guys like Randal Cunningham, Michael Vick, Cam Newton etc… when they entered the league with regards to passing the ball. Mahomes is kind of a dual threat but his arm talent and decision making are really his strongest attributes. I think Kyler Murray’s game might actually be the best comparison. Accept Daniels is taller and has stronger arm. Sky’s the limit if he can stay healthy with that slight frame.

I think what we’re seeing is that these guys who stay in college for 4-5 years have a huge advantage over the ones who come out their Jr year.

More of that would be a win for college and pro football

Should be a lot more of it when you can make more in NIL than in the pros
