That can take weeks to heal.
I remember about four years ago when I thought I had a calf strain. DVT and PE instead. Don’t ignore calf pain, fellas!😐 Random public service announcement.🙂That can take weeks to heal.
No, it’s not. Just because it’s a short-term injury doesn’t mean it’s a freaking cramp. So is this just another way of saying he experienced a leg cramp??

Calf “strains” can be tough for a basketball player or any athlete really. It took Joe Burrow about 6 weeks to get back to some degree of normal.Glad he’s back, but this is devestating for the excuse factory when NU misses the tourney.
Hopefully he doesn’t try to come back too fast. I’ll be surprised if we’re not talking about weeks versus days out.No, it’s not. Just because it’s a short-term injury doesn’t mean it’s a freaking cramp.
If they’re questioning if he can go, it’s too damned quick with a calf. 😕
Aaaaaaaand he’s still out. No go for Maryland. Hope the hell he didn’t exacerbate his injury in practice. That looked like a minimum 3-4 week injury to me. 😕
Normally 4-5 weeks.Unless he is related to Dan Alexander, a guy who could recover from a complete ACL tear in a few months, seems more realistic to hope he can come back for the home stretch of the season vs in a couple of games. Calf strains take awhile to heal based on my experience.
