It's officially time for coaches and players to stop saying....

Coaches and players should also not be allowed to use the word "obviously" or "adversity". Using the word obviously before giving some obscure piece of information that few people know (or care) about is not a good use of the word. And personally, I think every single coach in the nation thinks his team suffered "adversity". Sorry guys, but everyone has their ups and downs. Lose a star, senior leader like Creighton did... that is adversity.

Listen to the useless sound montages from the NFL season from the Dan Lebatard Show. It will show just how pointless interviews are with coaches and players. I haven't listened or watched an interview since.

I really don't think I need to come to this board to find out what anyone should say.

That being said, I did move around well to get to my computer this morning.

My least favorite for a long time was "touch base," as in "let's touch base next week about it." New least favorite is "low-hanging fruit." Apparently the only fruit that was ever picked was that which was easily taken from the ground, because that seems to be the only tasks attempted at work.

I never listen to player or coach interviews for that very same reason. Just a big waste of time... although I used to get a kick out of listening to players screw up the cliches they tried to use.
