....that this is the Imani Cross we have been waiting for. It is like he finally realized that he is a huge guy that can run and dish out punishment at the same time. Better late than never.

Secondly........Cethan Carter is a baller. Good hands, tough and wants to score when he gets his chances. I hope whatever he has rubs off on some of the young guys.

Furthermore......Our kicker sure did put those horrible early season misses behind him. Well done.

In addition........Ozigbo > Newby. Ozigbo is going to be NU's next great back.

In conclusion.......Tommy is the epitome of the saying "When you're hot your're hot and when you're not you're not." Gamechanger in both the positive and negative sense.

vision is the #1 attribute of a RB .. you can have all the tools in the world but if you have to be able to find those small creases at the line that turn a run for nothing into a gain of 4 or 5. Anyone can run through gapping holes. Rex had great vision

cross = north south back.

what amazed me is cross's 2 best games seemed to be against michigan state's d..

Our offense will ho as TA goes - Imani is a good short yardage back and with a full back he can wear on a defense.

I was very happy to see the defense finally play a complete game. If they can continue to build and improve like this then I think there is reason to be excited next year

I agree with the others on Imani. Why we run delayed handoffs, toss or anything really without a FB is beyond me. I think Ozigbo is ok. He's still young and should develop but I don't see 'great back' out of him.

Tommy's inconsistency reminds me SOOOOOO much of Taylor. When he's on, you can see this team competing for championships. When he's off, you can't fathom how this guy is starting. I appreciate the intangibles that Tommy brings to the team but some of the decision making absolutely needs to improve. He's got the physical tools to perform at a high level.

Man he does have really good speed/power combination, throw in good hands and I think he an excellent back. Great? Time will tell.

Cross can't call his own number. He didn't suddenly appear; he has flashed before; yep even in one of the immortal Spring games. Newly has been tossed by D's and failing to get much YAC> Thus more Cross.

Ozigbo has much better burst than I realized.
Looks like he could be a very good all around back down the road. Big dude. I was glad to see that it appears that Imani quit trying to be a smaller quicker back and just has gone with what comes natural. Big boy football when those two come at you. The TV announcers said that Imani is up to 235.

Seems crazy that we can't complement our power back with a speed back.

I recognize that T Mart has several Husker records, but at the end of the day, I take Armstrong over Martinez (even when healthy) any day.

Tommy will also hold several Husker records at the end of his career. My fear is that neither of them will have won a championship due to their horrible inconsistency.
