Can we collectively please stop acting like it hasn’t been 20 years since we’ve had a physically dominant team? This “I can’t believe we aren’t lining up and running it down people’s throats/getting pushed around/weak line play” rhetoric is tired and just wrong.
This is the main point of hilarity amongst other fan bases when they think of NU fans...they live in the past.
You’re asking for an era of football that is long gone. The playing field is more even than it’s ever been and actually stacked against us (recruiting grounds/recruiting arms race).
“I just want a balanced offense!” I get it...we will get there. In the near term we have to attack where we can and give ourselves a chance to win games.
Educate yourself on the state of the game TODAY not 20 years ago, stop acting like “We are Nebraska” means anything to anyone outside the state, and realize...Frost will get us there eventually.
