He's doing the same routine. The press there are acting exactly the same as what was going on here. It's like major intimidation factor, while everyone is waiting for him to explode. Maybe he is butt hurt over not getting a call from LSU.

I didn't think it was that bad. But you can compare it to Riley's press conference in which Riley talked about an ugly win with Pelini's press conference to pass along the same message. To answer the OP, no there is nothing in that press conference which is our fault other than that Pelini is wearing a big "Y" on his hat and his jacket.
People say it's not that bad-but that's probably because we're used to this kind of stuff from him by now. If I didn't know they won the game, I would have thought they lost based on how surly he was. Just so glad to be done with that show.
What is sad about this isn't that it is all that bad. It is that it clearly shows that he has not learned his lesson.

I can't believe a man who's been in the public spotlight for more then half his life is as horrible in front of a camera and speaking as he is??? I honestly can't think of one person who's worse.

I'm sure he doesn't feel bad cashing his check each month from dear old Nebraska U., and I don't feel one bit bad pointing out that he's still an a$$ clown.
What AD in his right mind would hire him? He MIGHT win more games than whoever he replaces, but I can't think of any AD who would want to take the crap that comes with him.

We hired a guy to paint our house a long time ago and when I spoke with him on my way to work every morning he was gruff, gave short answers and was rude. He did a really good job, but I swore I would never hire him again. My wife told me we hired him to paint, not be a conversationalist. She said people like him like to be left alone to do their thing. I agree with her and he has been our painter for 20 years now - still an ass hat, but an excellent painter.

For a regular person, that would be pretty embarrassing. For Pelini, that wasn't too bad.

I do not miss that asshat one bit. I made it 30 seconds in to the video before I got sick and had to stop it. Riley and staff could be 0-18 right now and it would still be an upgrade from Mark Pelini. Thank god for Coach Riley.
How did we put up with this for so long? That was miserable to sit through. I felt as uncomfortable as those reporters.
