Is there any doubt why Tommy isn't a captain?

Yeah...throwing to a RB who wasn't even looking for the ball......the play call was even dumber.
How is it these sub division schools like NDSU year after year can bring in competent leadership at QB whereas NU struggles to field a collegiate level QB? The Huskers piss away more money than what these schools have for their entire budget. Talk about epic failure Big Red. Obviously money is not the answer.

Played a great game and made clutch throws when the game was on the line. Great leadership
One of the guttiest performances that I can remember seeing from a Nebraska quarterback. Made the plays that needed to be made and ran and passed very well today. GBR!

Wow... Another internet tough guy. I'm glad Tommy played better after my post, but based on previous performances (Miami last year ring a bell?) I wasn't confident in his decision making and bottom line neither were his teammates or he would've been a captain. I'm a die hard fan and I hope Tommy has a great year and every other QB we recruit has a great season.

Could be a special season if "Bad Tommy" continues to fade from view. Tommy makes plays that few D1 QBs can. And he is an absolute warrior.
